Karttunen's dictionary lists these words:-
- [popo_tl] (plural -meh) = "plant used to make brooms; broom, straw /
escoba"
- [tlapal-li]= "dye, color" (must have an owner?)

But "at the colored broom-like plant" would be [tlapalpopo_c].

Were roses native to Mexico?
