The Notion of an Object

Criteria for Objecthood in Philosophy, Linguistics, and Cognitive Science

May 20-21, Reid Hall, conference room, 4 rue Chevreuse Paris 75006

The notion of an object is much debated notion at the crossroad of
philosophy, linguistic semantics, and cognitive science. This workshop will
act as forum for presentations of different perspectives of the notion and
an interdisciplinary discussion of its uses and its relevance. The workshop
is coorganized by Institut Jean-Nicod (CNRS/EHESS/ENS) and Reid Hall.
