Dear all,

the ConSOLE is probably the most important conference for young
researchers in theoretical linguistics (and consequently for young
theoretical phonologists).

We are proud to announce that the 20th ConSOLE will take place in
Leipzig on January 5-7 2012. Our invited speakers are

* Marc van Oostendorp (Meertens Institute, Amsterdam/Leiden University),
* Andrew Nevins (University College London),
* Marcel den Dikken (City University of New York),
* Rajesh Bhatt (University of Massachusetts at Amherst),
* Sigrid Beck (University of Tübingen)

All students not having defended their PhD until September 9th are
invited to submit abstracts in all areas of theoretical linguistics
until September 9, 2011.
Further details can be found on the homepage
(http://www.uni-leipzig.de/console20/).

All the best,
Eva,
(on behalf of the organization committee)

(You might have noticed that the ConSOLE is very close to the OCP
(January 18-21) in Berlin: if you (whether you are a phD student or not)
ever needed a good reason for a long stay in Germany, this might be it!)
