construct semantic analyses of French verbs that account for the way
their event inferences vary in context, to account for the

inferences/ the disambiguation process, and (ii) to develop lexical
resources that enable these analyses.

Desired qualifications:
- Ph.D. in theoretical or computational linguistics
- Specialization in lexical semantics
- Preferably some experience in relevant domains of computational
linguistics (XML and processing of XML data, corpus-linguistic
tools, parsing, programming or scripting languages)
- Very good command of French for candidates without computational
background.

An interest in diachronic syntax/semantics of Romance languages is welcome,
but not required.

We offer the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects in
a dynamic and international research team with up-to-date
