size=3>Sur le plan syntaxique, les types d’énoncés auxquels donne lieu le
suffixe verbal <I>–ke</I> sont multiples et variés. Ainsi, la structure <I>verbe
/ qualitatif (ou adjectif) –ke </I>(désormais <I>V / Qual –ke</I>) peut
représenter une proposition ou un syntagme ou peut même être réduite à sa plus
simple expression, c’est-à-dire un verbe ou un qualitatif muni seulement de
l’élément <I>–ke</I> postposé. D’autre part, cette structure, quelles que soient
par ailleurs ses dimensions syntagmatiques, peut porter sur l’ensemble de la
proposition à laquelle elle est rattachée ou seulement sur un de ses
constituants, essentiellement un adverbe ou le noyau du prédicat, autrement dit
le verbe ou le qualitatif principal. </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P class=TEXTE style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" align=justify><SPAN lang=FR><FONT
size=3>Quant à son contenu sémantique, la diversité dont fait preuve ce morphème
tant dans ses manifestations morpho-syntaxiques qu’en ce qui concerne sa portée
variable selon la place qu’il occupe dans l’énoncé suffirait à nous convaincre
qu’il est illusoire d’en vouloir saisir toutes les facettes de façon immédiate,
d’autant plus que le fait qu’il apparaisse à la même position syntaxique ne
semble pas nécessairement autoriser à conclure qu’il se prête à la même
interprétation. </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P class=TEXTE style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" align=justify><SPAN lang=FR><FONT
size=3>Néanmoins, notre hypothèse de base est que la structure <I>V / Qual –ke
</I><SPAN style="mso-bidi-font-style: italic">peut être décrite dans le cadre de
théorie de l’argumentation dans la langue, autrement dit en termes de
« argument/antécédent – conclusion/conséquent ». Un des objectifs de
ce travail est de réfléchir sur les conséquences d’une telle décision : sur
quels critères fonder la description et quel est éventuellement son coût
théorique ?<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></SPAN></P>
