style="FONT-SIZE: 13.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: Times">Partant d’une réflexion sur les
propriétés structurelles spécifiques du langage, on proposera ici une nouvelle
formulation des rapports entre pensée et langage en termes de projection et de
réduction dimensionnelle. Le modèle proposé fait intervenir à la fois des
mécanismes spécifiquement linguistiques (processus de linéarisation, rapports
complexes entre parties et tout dans la construction du sens, séquentialité des
formes et non linéarité des effets de sens) et des concepts tels que
“l’épaisseur du langage”, l’intentionnalité ou les “attracteurs de sens” qui
sont à l’interface entre langage et pensée et permettent de prendre en compte la
multimodalité de la représentation et l’articulation du linguistique et du
non-linguistique dans la construction des représentations. On observera ensuite
la pertinence des outils proposés sur l’étude de différents exemples du français
faisant intervenir tout particulièrement des phénomènes d’ambiguïté, de
stratification du sens ou de rupture
