comme des pronoms caractéristiques de l’oral. Traditionnellement, on propose des
équivalents « corrects » à l’écrit : <I><SPAN style="FONT-STYLE: italic;">nous </SPAN></I>et <I><SPAN style="FONT-STYLE: italic;">cela</SPAN></I>, ce qui pose d’emblée l’opposition
oral/écrit. Après avoir abordé les problèmes qu’entraîne une survalorisation de
l’écrit (littéraire) dans les apprentissages scolaires, nous proposons de rompre
avec cette vision dichotomique. Nous envisageons un modèle théorique de
description de la langue autre : l’actualisation de la langue serait
conditionnée par les contraintes relatives à la situation de communication.
Ainsi, il n’est plus question de penser le médium oral ou écrit comme prévalant
sur toute autre contrainte. Chaque production langagière se réaliserait en un
« situatiolecte », c’est-à-dire une actualisation, chaque fois unique,
de <st1>la langue.
De</st1> fait, les situatiolectes ne sont pas dénombrables : à
chaque situation correspond une série de contraintes qui lui est propre et qui
détermine l’élaboration des énoncés.<o></o></SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class="MsoNormal" style="TEXT-INDENT: 35.45pt;TEXT-ALIGN: justify;"><FONT face="Times New Roman" color="black" size="3"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt;COLOR: black;">La sélection pertinente de <I><SPAN style="FONT-STYLE: italic;">on</SPAN></I> ou de <I><SPAN style="FONT-STYLE: italic;">ça</SPAN></I> serait donc motivée par l’appréhension
des contraintes situationnelles : leur sens impose certaines conditions.
Partant, nous les distinguons des pronoms dont le sens, quel qu’il soit, permet
leur sélection dans n’importe quel situatiolecte si le cotexte permet leur
emploi. Nous considérons <I><SPAN style="FONT-STYLE: italic;">on</SPAN></I>
et <I><SPAN style="FONT-STYLE: italic;">ça</SPAN></I> comme des « opérateurs
pragmatiques ». Nous soulignons ainsi la nécessité de prendre en compte,
pour un emploi efficace de ces deux mots, les éléments constitutifs de la
situation de communication, notamment, l’identité, le répertoire, des
intervenants dans l’échange.<o></o></SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class="MsoNormal" style="TEXT-INDENT: 35.45pt;TEXT-ALIGN: justify;"><FONT face="Times New Roman" color="black" size="3"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt;COLOR: black;">Une telle caractérisation n’entretient,
dès lors, plus l’opposition oral/écrit. Si <I><SPAN style="FONT-STYLE: italic;">on</SPAN></I> et <I><SPAN style="FONT-STYLE: italic;">ça</SPAN></I> sont moins fréquents à l’écrit, c’est
qu’il y a davantage de situations donnant lieu à des productions écrites dont
les contraintes ne permettent pas une bonne interprétation de ces deux mots.
Cependant, il y a un grand nombre de situatiolectes oraux pour lesquels <I><SPAN style="FONT-STYLE: italic;">on</SPAN></I> et <I><SPAN style="FONT-STYLE: italic;">ça</SPAN></I> ne sont pas
appropriés.<o></o></SPAN></FONT></P></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV>
