Delafosse à la fin du XIXe siècle, est décrit comme un système homogène constitué d’un nombre variant de dialectes tous associés, selon la tradition dialectale, à des lieux opposés au moyen de frontières linguistiques. Si, d’une part, la répartition dialectale a pour une grande part été créée par Delafosse (les sources indiquent combien les frontières furent bien difficiles à tracer), l’expérience de terrain montre, d’autre part, que les divisions (actuelles) en « sous-systèmes » ne correspondent à aucune réalité langagière. Au contraire, les fluctuations phonologiques, morphologiques et lexicales nécessitent une approche complexe impliquant les aspects interactionnels, discursifs, sociologiques et historiques.</DIV><DIV><BR></DIV><DIV>10 janvier<BR></DIV><DIV><B>Mathieu Avanzi </B>(Université de Neuchâtel)</DIV><DIV>Les grammaires discursives. Présentation et approche critique</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>Depuis la fin des années 70, de nombreuses études ont eu pour effet de mettre en question la notion de « phrase » [Blanche-Benveniste & Jeanjean 1987 ; Berrendonner & Béguelin, 1989]. Si bien qu’aujourd’hui, nombre de chercheurs sont convaincus que la phrase doit être remplacée par d’autres unités, opératoires à l’oral et susceptibles de définitions rigoureuses et univoques. Toutefois, tant la nature que le statut fonctionnel de ces nouvelles unités sont encore en débat.</DIV><DIV>Selon la conception que chacun se fait des effets communicationnels associés aux différents types d’indices linguistiques dans le discours, les segments discursifs qui s’assemblent pour former des unités prosodiques de rang supérieur ne reçoivent pas la même valeur. Pour certains, la prosodie et la syntaxe se relaient dans le processus de schématisation discursive [Lacheret, Lambrecht], l’une prenant en charge ce que l’autre ne code pas. Pour d’autres, « intégration syntaxique » et « intégration discursive » sont deux modes d’organisation différents, qui n’ont ni les mêmes coûts ni les mêmes rendements communicatifs [Blanche-Benveniste et al 1990, Morel & Danon-Boileau 1998, Perrot 1994]. Enfin d’aucuns diront que syntaxe, prosodie et structure informationnelle ne sont jamais strictement congruentes entre elles, et que la hiérarchie entre les différentes sphères de l’analyse du discours est un problème qui est loin d’être réglé à ce jour [Simon 2004, Mertens 2006]. Du travail reste à faire pour articuler de manière convaincante les différents niveaux d’organisation langagière (niveaux morpho-syntaxique, prosodique, sémantico-cognitif)<wbr>.</DIV><DIV>L’objectif de mon exposé est double. Il s’agira dans un premier temps de présenter certaines de ces approches, en insistant sur les lignes de force méthodologiques qui les sous-tendent. Puis, dans un second temps, d’en faire la critique à la lumière de la théorie des unités élaborée au cours de ces deux dernières décennies par les membres du groupe de Fribourg [Berrendonner & Béguelin, 1989 ; groupe de Fribourg, à par.].</DIV><DIV><BR></DIV><DIV>10 janvier</DIV><DIV><B>Laëtitia Constant</B> (doctorante Modyco, allocataire/<wbr>monitrice à Paris X Nanterre, UFR d'anglais)</DIV><DIV>Interaction des paramètres contextuels dans la (re)construction du sens en anglais contemporain <wbr>: le cas de la valeur causale </DIV><P align="justify">Certains connecteurs participent à la construction / reconstruction de valeurs temporelles ou spatiales et/ou de liens sémantico-logiques (liens causatifs au sens large : cause à proprement parler, conséquence, condition, adversativité<wbr>/concession, hytpothétiques, etc.) de façon plus ou moins explicite. Dans certains cas, ce sont les frayages dans le contexte amont et/ou plus rarement les rétroactions interprétatives exigées par le contexte aval qui filtrent les valeurs à assigner à des connecteurs polyvalents ou à l'absence de connecteur. Parfois à l'inverse, le connecteur semble être redondant par rapport à des liens déjà (re)construits par ailleurs. Nous analyserons des exemples où des cooccurrences de marqueurs sont indispensables à la construction des valeurs causales et des exemples où la redondance apparaît dans la construction de ces valeurs. </P><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV></p>
