<P class="MsoNormal" style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify;"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt;">Le point d’ancrage proposé pour ces journées est la
notion de <I>construction</I> telle qu’elle a pu être développée dans le cadre
des grammaires de construction ces 20 dernières années (Fillmore 1982, Goldberg
1995, 2000) avec l’hypothèse unificatrice suivante : la grammaire se
construirait et fonctionnerait autour d’unités symboliques plus complexes que le
mot, <I>i.e.</I> des constructions, qui doivent ainsi être considérées comme les
unités de base de la description grammaticale. Ces constructions ont deux
caractéristiques : (1) elles combinent une forme déterminée et une
fonction sémantique/pragmatiq<wbr>ue particulière, <I>i.e.</I> Les structures (morpho)syntaxiques
spécifiées comme 'constructions' ont une valeur sémantique par
elles-mêmes ; (2) elles présentent à la fois des propriétés
grammaticales génériques et des traits spécifiques.<o></o></SPAN></P>
<P class="MsoNormal" style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify;"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt;">A travers des approches diverses tant par le matériau
d’étude (français écrit, français parlé) que par les affinités théoriques, les
méthodes et les objectifs (lexiques grammaires, dictionnaires de valence,
approche énonciative de Culioli ou grammaires de constructions, approche
microsyntaxique <I>vs</I>. macrosyntaxique,
statistique <I>vs</I> symbolique,
descriptive et taxinomique ou modélisatrice et formelle), le but de ces journées
est de montrer qu’au-delà même d’un courant théorique précis, cette notion de <I>construction</I> est fondamentale pour les
travaux consacrés à la sémantique et/ou à la syntaxe des verbes du français. A
un moment ou l’autre de l’analyse, on est obligés de convoquer plus ou moins
explicitement la notion pour tenir compte des propriétés constructivistes des
verbes, propriétés qui permettent de distinguer différents fonctionnements et
classes verbales. Au-delà de cette notion générique commune, la question reste
alors de bien faire la part des choses entre les points de convergence et la
spécificité des uns et des autres.<o></o></SPAN></P>
