<BR>
Le séminaire portera sur les dimensions textuelles et discursives des théories du pouvoir et du genre américaines (“gender studies”) et françaises (prolongations contemporaines des notions installées dans la période structuraliste)<wbr>.<BR>
On examinera la manière dont certains outils théoriques relevant de la linguistique et de l’analyse du discours sont retravaillés et rethéorisés pour servir à élaborer de nouvelles théories de la discursivité et de la connaissance : en particulier les notions tournant autour du pouvoir comme l'assujettissement (Foucault), l'interpellation et l'idéologie (Althusser), la domination (Bourdieu). On examinera la manière dont les théories françaises ont été exploitées sur les campus américains (le phénomène de la french theory), puis sont revenues tardivement en France sous la forme des cultural studies, et ont enfin été contestées et renouvelées sous la forme de la fresh theory (courant français dit "post-moderne"). On insistera en particulier sur le statut du langage et du discours dans ces théories et entre autres sur les notions de norme, de savoir et de pratique.<BR>
