On souligne ainsi leur manque de communication, de jeu symbolique, d’imitation, et de compréhension des états mentaux d'autrui. Toutefois, les faits sont loin d’être aussi tranchés. L’observation scientifique des films familiaux et les travaux portant sur des situations d’interaction étayée<span> </span>montrent que la plupart des enfants disposent d aptitudes incontestables dans chacun de ces domaines. Et les cliniciens les retrouvent dans leur pratique quotidienne.<o></o></span></div><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span lang="FR" style="font-size: 11.0pt;">L’objectif de ce colloque est de préciser la spécificité de ces aptitudes particulières, les situations dans lesquelles elles se manifestent le plus nettement, ainsi que les différents profils développementaux, en les distinguant de ce que l’on observe chez l’enfant ordinaire. Dans cette perspective, il sera aussi question de souligner l'importance d'une analyse qui prend en considération la dynamique interactionnelle entre les partenaires. <o></o></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span lang="FR" style="font-size: 11.0pt;">D’un point de vue méthodologique, ce colloque entend donner toute sa place à la diversité des approches (études comparatives et études de cas, études expérimentales ; observations en situations contrôlées, semi-contrôlées ou "naturelles"). Ces sessions ont pour objectif de favoriser le partage des pratiques et des expériences entre chercheurs et professionnels. Les posters peuvent ainsi présenter des recherches expérimentales, des études d’observation contrôlées tout comme des recherches appliquées (évaluation de pratiques cliniques/éducatives) conduites par des professionnels.
