“Cross-cultural Pragmatics at a Crossroads: Speech Frames and Cultural

sequence of related events including “Les enjeux de la communication

2007 and “Cross-culturally speaking, speaking cross-culturally” in
Sydney (Australia) in 2009 (Macquarie University).</span><span style="font-size: 12pt;font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";color: rgb(83, 84, 85);" lang="EN"><o></o></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt;color: rgb(83, 84, 85);" lang="EN"> </span><span style="color: rgb(83, 84, 85);" lang="EN"><o></o></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt;color: rgb(83, 84, 85);" lang="EN">Like

activities central to the sharing of information and knowledge across
