J'ai le plaisir de vous inviter à la soutenance de ma thèse intitulée "La dimension probabiliste des marqueurs de discours. Nouvelles perspectives sur l'argumentation dans la langue", ainsi qu'au pot qui suivra.<br>

Résumé :<br>
-------<br>Cette thèse cherche à démontrer l’intérêt d’intégrer une composante argumentative dans la description sémantique de marqueurs de discours tels que 'mais', 'aussi', et 'et'. La notion d’argumentation que je considère correspond à celle développée par Anscombre et Ducrot (1983) et surtout à son interprétation probabiliste (Merin, 1999).<br>
Je commence par montrer que la prise en compte de l'argumentation est nécessaire dans la description sémantique de 'mais' et que le recours aux probabilités permet de fonder une partie des calculs argumentatifs mis en jeu par ce connecteur. Je montre ensuite qu'il est pertinent de supposer que 'aussi' et 'et' ont également une sensibilité aux propriétés argumentatives de leurs arguments.<br>
Je conclus en montrant comment les descriptions que j'ai données se combinent entre elles lorsque plusieurs marqueurs sont employés dans un même énoncé.<br><br>
