L’avis du comité scientifique sera transmis le lundi 16 mai 2011<br><br><br>******************************************************<br><br>En prenant Benveniste comme thème central, ce colloque souhaite inviter à une discussion et une confrontation de points de vue sur l’énonciation, c’est-à-dire en tant que façon de poser et traiter des problèmes en linguistique, par opposition à l’appréhension des faits de langue dans les autres grands courants théoriques d’aujourd’hui. Un des objectifs de cet événement serait notamment de consolider la visibilité de la perspective énonciative et de favoriser l’échange entre ses acteurs qui, du fait même de leur dispersion géographique ou de la spécialité de leur domaine de recherche, suivent parfois des cheminements séparés. Ainsi, il paraît crucial de montrer que la recherche énonciative, pour diverses que puissent être ses approches, reste l’objet d’un projet commun et d’une spécificité scientifique qui demande à être entretenue et pérennisée. C’est dans ce souci de trouver un thème qui transcende la particularité des approches énonciatives ou des champs de recherche de chacun que nous avons pensé lancer une réflexion autour de Benveniste, comme source d’une démarche linguistique spécifique.<br><br>- Quels sont les outils, les modes de raisonnements, les modes de représentations utilisés ou développés aujourd’hui pour dégager les propriétés énonciatives des phénomènes de langue ou de discours ?<br><br>- L’approche énonciative est-elle susceptible de sélectionner des problématiques plus que d’autres, voire d’en exclure ?<br><br>- Quelle est la mesure de la continuité entre les problématiques traitées par Benveniste et celles abordées dans les théorisations plus récentes ?<br><br>Les communications pourront porter sur des langues variées et sur tous les sujets pertinents dans le cadre de cette réflexion : qu’il s’agisse de phonologie, de morphologie, de syntaxe, de sémantique, d’acquisition du langage, d’analyse du discours… Cependant, il est indispensable que les questionnements épistémologiques et méthodologiques traités passent par l’illustration d’une problématique empirique.<br><br>Un document Word contenant un titre ainsi qu’un résumé d’une page maximum ainsi que d’une bibliographie indicative, en français ou en anglais, devra être adressé d’ici le 14 mars 2011 à:<br>Lionel Dufaye: <a href="mailto:dufaye@sfr.fr">dufaye@sfr.fr</a><br>Lucie Gournay: <a href="mailto:lucie.gournay@u-pec.fr">lucie.gournay@u-pec.fr</a><br><br>Chaque résumé sera soumis pour évaluation sous forme anonyme à deux membres du comité scientifique.<br><br>Les communications dureront 30 minutes + 10 minutes de discussion. Plus de précisions seront communiquées en temps utile.<br><br>Le colloque sera organisé sous formes d’ateliers thématiques (approche discursive, syntaxe, sémantique, oral…), et accueillera quatre sessions plénières de Professeurs invités.<br><br><br>____________________________________________________<br><br><br>Call for papers:<br><br>Enunciative theories today: Benveniste fifty years on.<br><br>By adopting Benveniste as its central theme, the aim of this conference is to provide a platform to promote discussion by confronting different points of view on enunciation as a distinct way of posing and dealing with linguistic problems as opposed to other major current theoretical frameworks. One of the main objectives of this event is to consolidate the visibility of the enunciative approach and to encourage exchange between researchers who sometimes follow separate paths, be it for reasons of geographical dispersion or because of the diverse nature of their scientific specialties. It is therefore appears crucial to show that however diverse individual approaches may be, enunciative research remains the unifying objective of a common project and constitutes a scientific specificity which needs to be maintained over the long term. It is with the aim of finding a theme which transcends the diversity of approaches adopted by enunciativists that we launch this invitation to reflect on the work of Benveniste as the source of a specific way of doing linguistics.<br><br>- What tools, modes of reasoning and modes of representation are being used or developed today in order to bring out the enuciative properties of language or discourse phenomena?<br><br>- Does the enunciative approach tend to select certain types of research problem more than others, even to the extent of excluding them?<br><br>- To what extent is their continuity between the problems tackled by Benveniste and those which are being studied by enunciativists today?<br><br><br>Papers can be on any language and on any relevant subject – phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, language acquisition, discourse analysis… However, it is essential that the epistemological and methodological questions raised be illustrated with reference to empirical observations.<br><br>Proposals (either in French or in English) should be sent as a Word document containing the title, a summary (maximum of one page) and short bibliography by the 14 th March 2011 to:<br>Lionel Dufaye: <a href="mailto:dufaye@sfr.fr">dufaye@sfr.fr</a><br>Lucie Gournay: <a href="mailto:lucie.gournay@u-pec.fr">lucie.gournay@u-pec.fr</a><br><br>Each proposal will be evaluated anonymously by two members of the scientific committee.<br><br>Important dates:<br><br>Deadline for receipt of proposals: Monday 14 th March 2011<br><br>Notification of acceptance: Monday 16 th March 2011<br><br>Conference dates: Thursday 24 th and Friday 25^th November 2011<br><br>Presentations will last 30 minutes + 10 minutes for discussion.<br><br>The conference will take place at: Université Marne-La-Vallée, Cité Décartes.
