persan contemporain, </span></i><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">et en 1994, de son ouvrage de référence sur </span><i><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">L’actance<span> </span>- </span></i><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">traduit en anglais en 1998 -, </span><i><span style="font-size:12.0pt;"><span> </span></span></i><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">publié, - sans compter les recueils qu’il a dirigés
et préfacés –, 22 ouvrages dont 12 traductions et </span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:#0070C0;"><span> </span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">124 articles en iranologie, 5 ouvrages et 84 articles
en linguistique générale. A 80 ans passés, il a aujourd’hui trois nouveaux
articles à paraître en iranologie et un ouvrage en préparation : le
deuxième volume de ses <i>Études de linguistique générale.</i><o></o></span></p>

œuvre, qui revendique l’héritage de Ferdinand de Saussure et d’Émile
Benveniste, dont il était très proche, se situe dans une perspective résolument
ouverte à toutes les langues humaines, que ce soit à travers une approche
structurale interne, comparatiste ou typologique. Les faits linguistiques que
Gilbert Lazard met en lumière mais aussi et peut-être surtout la méthode qu’il
met en œuvre et les hypothèses qu’il avance tant sur le fonctionnement des
langues que sur le fonctionnement de la discipline linguistique et son statut
épistémologique ouvrent le champ du débat que ce soit dans le sens de
l’approfondissement, d’une reformulation ou même d’une contestation.<o></o></span></p>

enseignants italiens. Les droits d’inscription sont fixés à 60 euros pour les
