<p>Dans le cadre du projet "Valeur et contenu des traits phonologiques", proposé par les UMR 7023 (SFL) et 7018 (LPP) du CNRS et soutenu par la Fédération Typologie et Universaux Linguistiques (FR2559), une rencontre aura lieu le 14 mars prochain à l'ILPGA, 19 rue des Bernardins, Paris 5e, à partir de 9h30.<br>
On assistera à des exposés de Elizabeth Hume (Ohio State University) sur la théorie de l'information en tant que source du concept de trait en phonologie, et de Rachid Ridouane (UMR 7018, Paris 3) sur les bases phonétiques des traits phonologiques.<br>
La rencontre - ouverte à toute personne intéressée - est prévue, par ailleurs, comme prétexte à débat sur tout sujet en rapport avec ces communications et la problématique des traits en général : fondement substantiel, base systémique versus processuelle de la pertinence, binarisme versus monovalence, formalisation de la marque, etc.)<br>
