Nous voulons maintenant, en nous appuyant sur ces travaux, accroître nos connaissances dans le domaine de l’interface entre prosodie et discours.</div><div><br></div><div><div>Renseignements :</div><div>Diane Blakemore (local organizer) <a href="mailto:d.blakemore@salford.ac.uk">d.blakemore@salford.ac.uk</a></div><div>Debbie Hughes (conference support) <a href="mailto:d.hughes1@salford.ac.uk">d.hughes1@salford.ac.uk</a></div><div> </div><div> </div><div>La participation au tutorial ne nécessite pas de payer les frais d'inscription (12 Sept, de 14H00 à 17H00).</div></div><div><br></div><div>----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</div><div>Last date for Registration approaching</div><div>Prosody Discourse Interface 2011</div><div> </div><div>University of Salford 12 – 14 September</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Including</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>• Research training workshop on the transcription of prosodic features of discourse led by Elisabeth Delais-Roussarie and Brechtje Post*</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>• Workshop on expressive meaning and affective prosody</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Guest speakers</div><div> </div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>• Nicole Dehe, University of Konstanz</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>• John Local, University of York</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>• Christopher Potts, University of Stanford</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>• Marc Schroeder, German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>This is the 4th in a series of conferences which provide a forum for those working on the relationship between prosody and discourse. It will cover a wide range of phenomena which illustrate how research on prosody feeds into research on discourse and vice versa – e.g. the communication of attitudes and emotions, constraints on implicit meaning, disambiguation, information structure, interaction and interactive meaning, humour in discourse, the interpretation of anaphora, the identification of processing units, and the identification of genre. Papers will be presented from the perspective of phonology, semantics, syntax, pragmatics, language acquisition, language processing, language pathology, stylistics, and speech synthesis.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Registration for this conference will close on 26 August 2011.
