<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Times;">Des
comparatistes internationalement reconnus dans leur domaine y apporteront leur
contribution. Chaque séance fera l'objet d'une annonce précisant son sujet,
compte tenu des intervenants invités et de la demande des participants. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Times;">Le
séminaire sera organisé dans un format souple : deux conférences d'1h30,
une conférence suivie d'un commentaire et analyse (au second semestre surtout),
une séance de travail impliquant l'obtention de résultat dans un des domaines
concernés. Tout au long du séminaire, on aura le souci de proposer aux
participants des problèmes de linguistique comparée constituant une modélisation
du travail réel du linguiste. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Times;">Le
séminaire est conçu pour associer étroitement des conférences sur les
fondements de la linguistique comparée et des débats sur les problèmes
théoriques les plus actuels auxquels sont confrontés les comparatistes aujourd'hui.

comparatives. Aperçu des résultats obtenus par les comparatistes aujourd'hui.
Problèmes de parenté « proche » et « éloignée ». Le
nostratique.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:black;">2.</span><span> Méthode
comparative/historique. Caractère régulier du changement phonétique comme base
et justification de la méthode comparative. Correspondances régulières.
Emprunts et innovations. Etymologie scientifique et étymologie populaire.
Interdiction et permission dans le comparatisme.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:black;">3.</span><span> Problèmes de la
reconstruction. Conception de la proto-langue dans la linguistique
contemporaine. Néogrammairiens. Introduction de la notion de
« système » : problème de synchronisation des éléments de la
proto-langue. Concept de reconstruction « pas à pas » (<i>step by
step</i> <i>reconstruction</i>).</span></p>

morphologie. Changements diachroniques par analogie. Fonctions synchroniques
