essentiels : la linguistique compare et la typologie historique. La
premire a comme but la reconstruction des protolangues de niveaux diffrents
et la classification gnalogique des langues, la deuxime tudie les lois et
les tendances plus ou moins abstraites de la dynamique des langues. Les
corrlations entre ces deux paradigmes dans leurs aspects positifs et ngatifs
de l'histoire de la linguistique seront discutes dans cette communication avec
