<p class="Style1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;">Au
question de l'héritage de la
<o></o></span></p>
<p class="Style1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;">L'héritage
correspondante a
/ imperfectif a
également été soulevée (Iordachioaia & Soare 2009 sur le
roumain ; Ferret,
Soare & Villoing 2010 et Knittel 2011 pour le français). <o></o></span></p>
<p class="Style1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;">Les
Bien qu'ils semblent avoir
suscité une littérature
beaucoup moins abondante (voir cependant Osswald 2005, Melloni
2007), ils
verbe statif ?<o></o></span></p>
<p class="Style1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;">Outre
(Roy & Soare
2010), laissant subsister un vaste champ d'exploration.<o></o></span></p>
<p class="Style1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;">Par
2010).<o></o></span></p>
<p class="Style1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;">Orthogonalement
déadjectivaux (Kerleroux 2008, Koehl 2009, Martin 2010) ?<o></o></span></p>
<p class="Style1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;"><o> </o></span></p>
<p class="Style1"><b><span style="font-size:
11.0pt;">Les études sur corpus
peuvent-elles permettre
<p class="Style1"><b><span style="font-size:
A l'inverse,
<o></o></span></b></p>
<p class="Style1"><b><span style="font-size:
11.0pt;">L'objectif de ce numéro
spécial <i>Nominalisations
questions.<br>

<p class="Style1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;" lang="EN-US">At the crossroads
of morphology, syntax and

linguistics. For
example, the question of the inheritance of the argument

'complex event nominals' (CEN, Grimshaw 1990), or 'argument

(AS-Nominals, Alexiadou 2001, 2009), is a much discussed
research topic. So is
the question of the preservation of the aspectual properties
of verbs by the
corresponding nominalizations (e.g. Haas, Huyghe & Marín

other hand, the existence of outer aspect (i.e.
(im)perfectivity) in the
nominal domain has also been discussed by researchers
(Iordachioaia & Soare

the issue of the
existence of positive tests for stativity (Fábregas &
Marín 2012). Another
important question is to determine if the class of states is
uniform, or if
various types of nominal stativity do exist.<span> </span>(Van de Velde 1995, Flaux & Van de Velde
2000, Alexiadou
2011, Fradin 2011).<o></o></span></p>
<p class="Style1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;" lang="EN-US">Another class of
nominalizations generally
characterized negatively is that of resultatives. Even though
they have been
much less discussed than states (see however Osswald 2005,
Melloni 2007), the
questions they raise are of the same nature: Is it possible to
put forward a
positive description of results? Is the relationship between
the event reading
and the result reading a question of polysemy (Godard &
Jayez 1993)? Is it
possible to establish a typology of results, and on what
criteria? Can a result
keep eventive properties? What are the properties of result
states, in
particular with regards to nominalizations of stative verbs?<o></o></span></p>
<p class="Style1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;" lang="EN-US">Apart from
potentially eventive nominals, other
deverbal nouns, such as those referring to agents, patients,
instruments a. o.,
can also be built up by nominalizing processes. With regards
to this issue,
questions range from the criteria determining the
interpretation of the
morphologically complex nouns (Namer & Villoing 2008) to
the question of
the presence of an event (or clausal) component in the
nominalization (Roy
& Soare 2010).<o></o></span></p>
<p class="Style1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;" lang="EN-US">Our
preoccupations also extend to deadjectival
nouns, for which issues such as the relationship between
predicativity and
nominalization (Fradin & Kerleroux 2003, Koehl 2012),
aspect (Beauseroy
& Knittel 2007, Beauseroy 2009, Haas & Tayalati 2008),
number variation
and its value (Beauseroy 2009, Beauseroy & Knittel 2011),<span> </span>or eventivity (Roy 2010,
Marín 2010)
have been raised.<o></o></span></p>
<p class="Style1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;" lang="EN-US">The morphology of
deverbal / deadjectival
nominals is also a current topic. Discussions dealing with
e.g. the
construction rules involved in nominalizations, the motivation
determining the
choice of morphological processes (e.g. affixation vs
conversion), the
influence of rules / affixes on the construal of deverbal and
deadjectival
nominals (Kerleroux 2008, Koehl 2009, 2012, Martin 2010), are
also of current
interest.<o></o></span></p>
