<p>Offre de doctorat (contrat Cifre) : modélisation informatique de l’évolution des langues au moyen des grammaires de construction fluides<br><br><br>Description :<br><br>SONY CSL Paris (<a href="http://www.sonycsl.co.jp/lab/paris/">http://www.sonycsl.co.jp/lab/paris/</a>) et le laboratoire LATTICE (UMR8094, <a href="http://www.lattice.cnrs.fr/">http://www.lattice.cnrs.fr/</a>) souhaitent recruter un doctorant en contrat Cifre (<a href="http://www.anrt.asso.fr/fr/espace_cifre/accueil.jsp">http://www.anrt.asso.fr/fr/espace_cifre/accueil.jsp</a>) sur le thème suivant : modélisation informatique de l’évolution des langues au moyen des grammaires de construction fluides (fluid construction grammars). La thèse est soumise à l'acceptation du dossier par l'ANRT. <br><br>Les grammaires de construction fluides sont des grammaires à base de structures typées réversibles, permettant à la fois l'analyse et la génération. Elles ont fait l'objet de nombreuses publications et ont été appliquées avec succès pour modéliser différentes langues et différents phénomènes linguistiques. Pour plus de détails, voir le site Web dédié : <a href="http://www.fcg-net.org/">http://www.fcg-net.org/</a>.<br><br>Un projet de recherche en cours vise à modéliser dans ce formalisme des questions de linguistique historique, afin de mieux mettre en évidence les paramètres en jeu dans l'évolution des langues. Certains phénomènes ont déjà été étudiés dans ce cadre, comme par exemple l'évolution du système de cas en allemand (van Trijp, 2012) ou l'étude des phénomènes d'accord (Beuls & Steels, 2013).<br><br>L'offre de thèse vise à amplifier cet effort. Le candidat devra implémenter dans le cadre des grammaires de construction fluide un ou des phénomènes d'évolution linguistique qui présentent un intérêt particulier sur le plan pratique ou théorique (lien entre données linguistiques et formalisation ; évolutions éventuelles du formalisme ; modélisation du rythme de l'évolution linguistique, etc.).<br><br><br>- Beuls, K., & Steels, L. Des compétences en linguistique diachronique seraient un plus. La connaissance d'un langage de script (perl, python) et d'un langage informatique (java, Prolog, Lisp) est nécessaire. <br><br><br>Déroulement de la thèse :<br><br>La thèse sera co-encadrée par Luc Steels (Sony CSL) et Thierry Poibeau (LATTICE).
