</span><i><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";background:white;">Hilton Chicago Magnificent Mile Suites</span></i><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";background:white;">
</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";">hotel in downtown Chicago, Illinois</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";">. The conference is hosted jointly by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
and the University of Illinois at Chicago. We invite submissions for papers in all areas related to language variation and change. Abstracts should be submitted via the online submission interface that will be available on February 15, 2014. Authors may submit
one singly-authored and one jointly-authored abstract, or two jointly-authored abstracts. Abstracts will be anonymously reviewed.<o></o></span></p>

will be featured at a two-hour, separate poster session on October 24. Abstracts should be no more than 500 words (not including references) and must be submitted by May 15, 2014. Notifications of acceptance will be emailed by June 15, 2014.
</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";">We are also accepting proposals for a limited number of panel sessions. Prospective panel organizers should include individual 500-word abstracts for each participant and a 300-word
