L’objectif du projet de recherches CorpAGEst (<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://corpagest.org/">http://corpagest.org/</a>)
est<br>
d’étudier la compétence pragmatique, verbale et non verbale, de
sujets très âgés<br>
sains (≥75 ans) dans leur environnement quotidien. Une attention
particulière y est<br>
portée à l’habileté empathique affective et cognitive des sujets,
autrement dit à leur<br>
capacité à exprimer leurs points de vue et émotions, à interagir
et à adopter le point<br>
de vue d’autrui. Nous formulons l’hypothèse selon laquelle les
marqueurs de<br>
discours (par ex., enfin, tu vois) et les unités mimogestuelles à
fonction<br>
intersubjective (par ex., un regard vers l’interlocuteur) sont de
bons indicateurs d’une<br>
habileté empathique (préservée ou non) chez le sujet vieillissant.<br>
</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">Plusieurs questions
de recherche sont au coeur du projet :<br>
- L’usage privilégié de l’un ou l’autre mode langagier (verbal vs.
non verbal)<br>
serait-il le signe d’une stratégie adaptative adoptée par le sujet
très âgé sain pour<br>
compenser un changement dans sa compétence communicative ?<br>
- Quel est l’impact des marqueurs de discours et des unités
mimogestuelles à<br>
fonction expressive (par ex., enfin ou un haussement de sourcil)
ou interactive (par<br>
ex., tu vois ou un regard vers l’interlocuteur) sur l’habileté
empathique des personnes<br>
très âgées ?</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">Pour répondre à ces
questions, des analyses sont effectuées à partir d’un corpus<br>
multimodal (texte, son, vidéo) composé d’entretiens semi-dirigés
en face à face entre<br>
un adulte et une personne très âgée saine. La méthode d'annotation
paramétrique et<br>
fonctionnelle des unités verbales et mimogestuelles (via le
logiciel ELAN) se<br>
caractérise par un souci de systématicité et de reproductibilité
maximales.<br>
Visant à améliorer les connaissances actuelles sur le
vieillissement langagier, les<br>
recherches menées dans le cadre de ce projet constituent une étape
indispensable<br>
pour la mise en place de stratégies concrètes susceptibles de
favoriser le bien-vieillir<br>
de nos aînés.<br>
