Après une présentation du débat actuel sur la possibilité d’un
apprenant ‘tardif’ en L2 d’atteindre le niveau d’un locuteur natif,
cette étude cherche à identifier des critères susceptibles de
différencier entre les apprenants/usagers aux stades ultimes de
l’acquisition d’une L2 et les natifs (données utilisées : le corpus
InterFra, <a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="http://www.fraita.su.se./interfra">www.fraita.su.se./interfra</a> et Bartning, 2012). <br>
Il sera question de critères de morphosyntaxe, de séquences
préfabriquées, de structure informationnelle (structuration de
l’énoncé en préambules et rhèmes), de richesse lexicale (rapport de
fréquence) et de fluidité (vitesse de parole). Les résultats de ces
cinq mesures seront combinés avec ceux d’un test d’écoute incluant
30 locuteurs non-natifs (apprenants ‘tardifs’) et 10 natifs. Ce test
d’écoute (évalué par des juges natifs) différencie ainsi les
locuteurs qui passent ou non pour des natifs. (Pour la méthodologie,
voir Abrahamsson & Hyltenstam, 2009 et Forsberg Lundell et al.,
2013.) <br>
Les résultats montreront les tests et critères qui ont permis
d’identifier des profils d’apprenants à ce très haut niveau
d’acquisition ou d’usage (Forsberg Lundell & Bartning, soumis).
Il y aura aussi une discussion sur les conditions qui ont mené à
cette réussite. Les recherches présentées dans la communication ont
été effectuées au sein d’un programme de recherche sur les stades
ultimes de l’acquisition d’une L2 High level proficiency in second
language use mené à l’Université de Stockholm
