théorie</span></u></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">La question de la nature des données en linguistique et des
principes dirigeant leur constitution est devenue centrale ces dernières
années, et l’importance qu’a prise la linguistique de corpus en est la
preuve.<span> </span>En outre, les données collectées
sont souvent exploitées grâce à des outils empruntés à un cadre théorique
particulier et bien défini. Ainsi, on peut se demander si le fait de mener des
recherches dans tel ou tel cadre théorique influence le recueil et
l’exploitation des données ou si les données peuvent imposer l’application
d’une théorie. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">La réflexion que nous nous proposons de mener dans le cadre
de cette journée d’étude portera sur l’articulation entre données et théorie,
dans la mesure où la relation entre ces deux éléments est essentielle à
l’analyse linguistique. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Nous invitons des propositions de communication de jeunes
chercheurs (master, doctorat, et jeunes docteurs) sur l’articulation entre les
données et l’analyse de celles-ci dans un cadre théorique. La contribution peut
porter sur les méthodes de constitution et de recueil de données, sur les
procédés d’exploitation de celles-ci, l’influence qu’une théorie peut avoir sur
les données et, inversement, l’influence que ces dernières peuvent avoir sur
une théorie. </p>

Data and Theory</i></span></u></b><span lang="EN-GB"></span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">The issue of the nature of linguistic
data along with the principles to be used for the constitution of these data
has become central, and this is demonstrated by the development of corpus
linguistics in recent years. However, the data are often interpreted through
the prism of a particular theory, which can lead us to ask if doing research in
a given theoretical background might influence the collection and
interpretation of the data? Conversely, can data impose the application of a
certain theory?</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">The reflexion which we propose to
conduct during this workshop will focus on the articulation between data and
theory, as the relationship between these two elements is essential to
linguistic analysis.</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;"><span lang="EN-GB">We invite young researchers (master
students, PhD students and young doctors) to submit abstracts on the
articulation between data and the analysis of these data within a given theory.
The communication may focus on the methods of collecting and organising data,
the way to interpret these data, how data can influence a theory or how a
theory can influence data.</span></p>
