<p>Dans le cadre de l’activité de constitution et d’exploitation de
corpus multilingues soutenue par le PRES Poitou-Charentes-Limousin, le
laboratoire FoReLL (Université de Poitiers) – Equipe A linguistique – et
le laboratoire FRED (Université de Limoges) organisent des journées
d’étude dédiées aux marqueurs subjectifs d’inscription de l’énonciateur
dans l’énoncé en prenant comme support les corpus multilingues
(parallèles et/ou comparables), représentant une variété de genres
textuels (littéraires, journalistiques, académiques, textes de
spécialité).</p>
<p>L’inscription de l’énonciateur dans l’énoncé s’entend comme prise de
position de l’énonciateur à l’égard du contenu de son énoncé et peut
être mise en relation avec la définition que D. Paillard propose de la
« scène énonciative » : « (…) un espace où, à partir des <strong>agencements de formes</strong> (y compris les marques prosodiques) constituant un énoncé, il est possible de restituer et <strong>les positions subjectives en jeu</strong>, et <strong>le statut du dire</strong>
en tant que donnant une forme linguistique à un état de choses du
monde. La scène énonciative se présente comme un espace dynamique, où,
en fonction de déterminations multiples et hétérogènes, est représentée
de façon infiniment variable mais régulière <strong>la rencontre entre un (des) sujet(s), des formes linguistiques et le monde<a rel="nofollow" title target="_blank" href="https://webmail.univ-poitiers.fr/roundcube/?_task=mail&_action=show&_uid=10353&_mbox=Sent&_search=f8059365fb69c413430e5ed65effc0fa#_ftn1"><strong>[1]</strong></a></strong>. » (<em>Prise en charge, commitment ou scène énonciative</em>, in <em>Langue Française, </em>2009, 2, pp. 109-208)</p>
<p>Nous souhaitons que la problématique<strong> </strong>de l’inscription de l’énonciateur <em>dans</em> l’énoncé, et de la représentation de l’énonciateur<strong> </strong><em>à travers</em><strong> </strong>les
textes, soit abordée dans les communications avec des outils théoriques
variés– énonciatif, lexicologique, pragmatique, syntaxique,
traductologique –, ainsi qu’à travers des types de textes différents.
Ces journées d’étude se veulent ainsi le lieu de croisement de
perspectives théoriques et textuelles variées sur une thématique peu
exploitée dans une approche contrastive à travers les corpus, et donc
dans une comparaison inter-langues et inter-textes.</p>
<p>En privilégiant la variété des cadres théoriques, des langues et des
textes, les analyses pourront porter sur la modalité, la qualification,
la reformulation, le point de vue, l’argumentation. Parmi les aspects
qui pourraient être abordés en tenant compte des types de corpus, des
spécificités des textes et des langues, on peut mentionner la question
de la réflexion sur le contenu, traitée à travers modalisation du dire,
la prise de distance, l’adéquation du dire ou du dictum à un repère
extérieur (énonciation autre) ou interne (projet énonciatif). Les
marqueurs linguistiques illustrant ces aspects pourraient être :</p>
<p>- des structures syntaxiques de type extraposées (ex. : <em>It may also be pointed out here that:: Remarquons également que ; It is sometimes suggested that :: Selon certains,…</em>)
ou clivées, abordées sous un angle syntaxique/ énonciatif/ pragmatique
du point de vue de la variation inter-langues des marqueurs et des
valeurs subjectives. La question des spécialisations éventuelles des
valeurs selon le type de texte pourrait également être abordée.</p>
<p>- des marqueurs cadratifs construisant les conditions de vérité d’un
énoncé envisagés sous l’angle lexicologique (par le biais des
collocations), énonciatif (construction de l’altérité), ou encore
pragmatique à travers la question de l’argumentation (ex. : <em>Il
suffit d'y jeter un coup d'œil pour apercevoir :: A glance reveals… ; En
admettant provisoirement que :: If we accept tentatively</em>).</p>
<p>- des marqueurs typographiques tels les guillemets, en tant que
traces de la réflexion sur le dire/dictum, dont une approche
contrastive/ traductologique peut mettre en évidence les difficultés de
traduction et les stratégies mises en place (ex. : <em>de façon paradoxale, un combat « servi » par la crise :: The financial crisis may<strong> </strong>have made things easier</em>).</p>
<p>Quelles que soient la problématique et l’approche adoptées, la
perspective contrastive à travers les corpus doit apporter un éclairage
nouveau à la thématique de l’inscription de l’énonciateur dans son
énoncé.</p>

<p>As part of a joint project on multilingual corpora between the
universities of Limoges and Poitiers, the research groups FoReLL
(Poitiers) and FRED (Limoges) are organizing a symposium on traces of
the speaker’s subjectivity in texts, based on multilingual corpora
(parallel and/or comparable) representing a variety of text types
(literary, journalistic, academic or specialized texts).</p>
<p>Traces of subjectivity are to be seen as evidence of commitment of
the speaker with respect to discourse content, as suggested by Denis
Paillard in what he defines as « scène énonciative ».</p>
<p>The question of speaker subjectivity <em>within</em> the text, and of the representation of the speaker <em>through</em>
texts, will be discussed from a variety of theoretical perspectives –
enunciative, lexicological, pragmatic, syntactic, translation studies –
and approached through different text types, encouraging the
intersection of various approaches to a theme that has so far been
largely unexplored from a contrastive corpus-based point of view,
involving comparison between languages and text genres.</p>
<p>Topics addressed may include modality, qualification, reformulation,
point of view, and argumentation. Among the possible aspects to be
discussed, taking into account different types of corpora as well as
specific features of texts and languages, reflections upon the speaker’s
relation to discourse content (distancing, evaluation of
appropriateness, emphasis etc.) could draw upon the examination of
linguistic markers such as :</p>
<p>- extraposed or cleft structures, approached from a syntactic or
enunciative or pragmatic point of view in terms of variation of markers
and of subjective values between languages; potential specialization
according to text-type could also be addressed.</p>
<p>- framing markers, whether considered in lexicological, enunciative or pragmatic terms.</p>
<p>- typographical markers such as inverted commas as possible
indications of the speaker’s reflection on his/her or others’ discourse,
where a contrastive perspective may bring to light translation problems
and strategies.</p>
<p>Whatever theoretical or methodological perspective is chosen, a
contrastive corpus-based approach is required, aimed at shedding new
light on the question of speaker subjectivity in discourse.</p>
