Free, useful software!

BareBones Software has just released its text editor TextWrangler as a
free product. TextWrangler has an excellent regular
 expression search and replace (grep) facility which is  based on
Perl-compatible regular expressions (so it's a widely-used standard that
is worth learning). It comes with a manual which gives a fairly good intro
to grep.
