Use of SLR for video

I don't have all these worries as I am mostly an old-fashioned audio-only
person, but I encountered a rather different problem in the summer of 2002
when I borrowed a professional quality digital video camera that came in a
fancy metal case with foam pockets for the camera etc. It looked very much
like the atomic bomb in "Goldfinger" and just cried out "I am a tactical
nuke" to airport security. Traveling with it was kind of a pain.
