Hi Jasmin,

That is possible. We've been looking at something similar. It would need an
intermediatory file format that could then be converted to various ebook
formats and to a appropriately typeset PDF file for print on demand
services. The necessary building blocks and conversion tools exist.

Initial steps are to build a simple to use GUI for authoring the content in
the intermediatory format (probably xml based)  and develop XSLT and XSL:FO
files or leverage of existing conversion tools.
