The Resource Network for Linguistic Diversity is seeking to appoint a
*Training Support Officer
* to join our team in RNLD's Melbourne Office.

RNLD's *Documenting and Revitalising Indigenous Languages* (DRIL) training
program delivers on-site training to Indigenous people in family groups,
communities and Indigenous organisations. DRIL workshops are now supporting
65 languages in 28 sites across all Australian states and territories. The
training team includes the Senior Linguist, DRIL Co-Director, and
Aboriginal Regional Community Trainers.

The Training Support Officer position is the key support role for the DRIL
training program. This person will provide support to the training staff,
lead the process of gaining VET accreditation for the DRIL Certificates III
and IV, liaise with current and prospective participants, organise
workshops, maintain training records, and contribute to the development of
instructional resources.

The Training Support Officer will have qualifications in linguistics and
preferably a background in education and training with an understanding of
the VET sector and the use of online teaching platforms. Experience in
working with Indigenous Australians in communities or Indigenous
organisations is essential.

 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
