Dear colleagues

 

I know that most of you will not be able to make it to a talk in Kununurra
but if you happen to be in the area this week - please drop in and join our
next Mirima Linguistic Forum!

 

Our 10th Forum will feature presentations by Candide Simard (SOAS, UK) on
the prosody of topics in Jaminjung and by Frances Kofod (MDWg, Kununurra) on
speech verbs in Miriwoong. You can find the details in the attached
invitation.

 

Best regards - and please let us know in case you ever plan to travel around
these parts of the world and would like to present on something interesting
to do with Indigenous language, culture and related areas! "It's a small
world."
