The University of Management Sciences & Information Technology  Kotli, Azad
Kashmir, Pakistan  is  pleased to announce Call for Papers for the 1st
International Conference on Indigenous Resource Management, Challenges and
Opportunities 2016 to be held on  14-15 April 2016, at university campus .

The region of Kashmir and Azad Kashmir in particular, exhibits a diverse and
unique indigenous natural and cultural heritage. These indigenous treasures
have remained largely unexplored, as the region has always been inaccessible
to researchers. It is striking nevertheless how cultural and natural
resources in the region have been undergoing rapid depletion and
degradation. 

The conference will explore indigenous resources and opportunities to
promote and preserve them.  It will also provide opportunities for scholars
to network and collaborate.

The organizers look forward to your participation in this exciting
opportunity to deepen understanding, share experiences and discuss progress
in exploring indigenous resources of our native places. Distinguished
international and local scholars will present papers on critical issues and
developments.

Abstract Proposals and Deadlines

Scholars are invited to submit abstracts (up to 300 words) by 31 January
2016 in MS Word format, Times New Roman 12, as an email attachment sent to:

Notification of acceptance of abstracts

Paper submissions will be reviewed by experts selected by the conference
committee for their demonstrated knowledge of particular topics. The
progress and results of the review process will be notified to the authors
by 15 February 2016

Registration Fee and Mode of Payment 

International Scholars: US$ 100, Scholars from the SAARC Countries: US$ 50,
Local Scholars: PKRs. 2500. Students:

PKRs. 1500

Guidelines for Authors

Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously. 

Papers will be short - 15 minutes for the presentation followed by a
5-minute questions-answers session.

Those who want their paper published in the conference proceedings will be
required to submit their full paper after one month of the conference.
