Expressions of Interest are being called for the position of Muurrbay Regional Co-ordinator – Linguist

Muurrbay Aboriginal Language and Culture Co-operative is seeking expressions of Interest for Regional Co-ordinator – Linguist.  Muurrbay is a leading regional language centre that provides strategic support to revitalise the languages of seven Aboriginal coastal communities, of central to north of NSW. We work closely with Elders, local language, culture and educational organisations to conduct research, publish accessible grammar-dictionaries and develop engaging educational courses and resources. The position requires at a minimum: Project management experience, ability to work well with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, a degree in Linguistics. The position is based in Nambucca Heads. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
