[https://gallery.mailchimp.com/f09911f3e91b973aedb498237/images/af71f366-c968-4185-8484-d84ef7e4fd97.jpeg]Your primary audience is Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people involved in language programs and activities in all areas of our communities. Language conservation, documentation, education and dissemination for our original traditional languages is an absolute priority. In particular, we are looking for presentations that create enthusiasm, share exciting new ideas, provide practical transfer of skills and empowerment, enlighten the audience and create awareness.

We would like to provide as many demonstrative sessions as possible in which the audience can be involved. It is in our delegates best interest to not only hear about what is available to them, but to experience it in some way as well.

The Call for Presenters closes on Monday the 27th February 2017

[https://gallery.mailchimp.com/f09911f3e91b973aedb498237/images/330e2524-e06b-43a0-9d5e-0048a388498a.jpeg]Your primary audience is Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people involved in language programs and activities in all areas of our communities. We would like to provide delegates with varied and innovative workshops which help to expand their skill set and practical knowledge in areas such as teaching language, creation of language resources in both digital and physical formats, language documentation, dissemination and conservation techniques.

Workshops will be held on Monday the 16th and Tuesday the 17th of October 2017 at the Pullman International in Cairns as the preliminary events leading up to Puliima. Only delegates attending the Puliima Language Conference have the option to attend the preliminary workshops.

The Call for Workshops closes on Monday the 27th February 2017
