The ARC Centre of Excellence for the Dynamics of Language  2018 Summer
School program

offers
courses in streams. It has dual focus on technology and community
engagement, and will be held from 26-30 November 2018 at ANU.   It includes
courses by:

   - Lindell Bromham (ANU), Simon Greenhill (Max Planck Institute for the
   Science of Human History)
   - Lydia Byrne (University of Queensland)
   - Nicholas Evans (ANU), Jeffrey Aniba-Waia
   - Alice Gaby (Monash) & Lesley Woods (ANU)
   - Leanne Hinton (University of California - Berkeley)
   - Stephen Levinson (MPI Nijmegen)
   - Debbie Loakes (University of Melbourne), Hywel Stokes (University of
   Auckland), Katie Jepson (University of Melbourne)
   - Siva Kalyan & Hedvig Skirgård, ANU
   - Barb Kelly and Jenny Green, University of Melbourne
   - Gretchen McCulloch (Lingthusiasm and All Things Linguistic)
   - Sally Rice (University of Alberta)
   - Daan van Esch (Google)


The Centre has some support for students, Indigenous participants and
unwaged people to attend CoEDL events. The aim of the Summer School travel
support award is to support new and emerging researchers both at
universities and also in Indigenous language centres. More information is
