[RNLD] Next Linguistic Forum at Mirima

Dear all,

 

I am happy to announce our next Linguistic Forum at Mirima Language Centre,
this time with a presentation by Dr Joe Blythe from Macquarie University.
His talk next Tuesday is titled "Conversational Interaction in Aboriginal
and Remote Australia (CIARA)".

While Kununurra can be classified as "remote", linguists and other academics
do pass through here at times and our work is greatly stimulated by
researchers who make themselves available to present on an area of interest
within the field of Indigenous language, culture or related areas. Please
consider this an open invitation to contact us about a possible presentation
as part of your visit to the East Kimberley region.
