Hi Heather,

RNLD has a "Documenting and Revitalising Indigenous Languages" training
program, and among many other topics we do teach people to use digital
recorders (among many other things!). We do have some
worksheets/information sheets about basic functions of the recorders, tips
(recording in WAV vs MP3 format etc), and also, I think, a simple metadata
template in an excel spreadsheet, but perhaps not teaching materials about
why and how to use metadata (I can check this though).

Our Zoom H1 worksheets would be based on the original version of the Zoom,
so I'm not sure what has changed, but if you are interested I can email you
these materials - feel free to email me off-list if anything sounds useful.
We may also have a video demonstrating use of the Zoom.

Thanks and good luck!

Emma
