[RNLD] Internship opportunities at Mirima Language Centre

Dear all,

 

the Mirima team is back at work after a good break and we extend our best
wishes to all of you for a successful year 2019 - the Year of Indigenous
Languages!

 

As a little "refresher", I am attaching some details regarding internship
opportunities at Mirima Dawang Woorlab-gerring Language and Culture Centre
for this year.

 

In summary, we offer three types of internships:

A) Special Internship, 6-12 months starting in July/August 2019;
applications close 15 February;

B) Language Nest Special Internship, 6-12 months starting in July 2019;
applications close 15 February; this could also be an opportunity for
someone with a background in education;

C) Standard Internship, 10-12 weeks, various start dates and no deadline for
applications; however, we have already had some expressions of interest for
this category and will lock in candidates very soon.

 

If you are interested in an experience of a lifetime, please contact us and
we will send you further details on the type of internship you are most
interested in.

 

If you are not in a position to be an intern at MDWg but your organisation
would like to support our Saving Miriwoong language revitalisation
initiative, please consider sponsoring an internship and get in touch with
us.
