Position Vacant: Full-Time Teacher Linguist at Ngukurr Language Centre
Ngukurr Language Centre is recruiting for the position of Teacher-Linguist. The role of the Teacher-Linguist is to facilitate a traditional language school program at Ngukurr Community Education Centre (CEC). Local Aboriginal Language Workers teach their own heritage language at the school (we have up to ten languages to be taught). The Teacher-Linguist will be required to support these local teachers to prepare content and deliver classes, develop a long term plan for the program, track and report learning outcomes, mentor and coach staff, and liaise between the Language Centre and the CEC.
