In 2020, ALW will feature two Quandamooka plenary presentations from Sandra Delaney<https://www.datsip.qld.gov.au/news-media/deadly-stories/deadly-stories-gallery/south-east-queensland/sandra-delaney>, a linguist who has been instrumental in reclaiming the Jandai language; and Sonja Carmichael<https://ima.org.au/ima-events/loops-and-knots-weaving-workshop-2/>, a fibre artist who is renowned for regenerating local weaving practices. Friday night<https://www.dynamicsoflanguage.edu.au/alw2020/special-event/> will be a reception and two book launches at the North Stradbroke Island Museum<https://stradbrokemuseum.com.au/>, with dancing by the Yulu-Burri-Ba<https://www.yawar.com.au/cultural-map/dance-groups/yulu-burri-ba> dancers led by Josh Walker.
