Dear RNLDers,<br><br>The Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) has released the <i>Shape of the Australian Curriculum: Languages</i>, which provides broad directions for the development of languages curriculum. <br>
<br>ACARA will now commence writing the languages curriculum for Chinese and Italian, and a Framework for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages.<br><br>A PDF of the paper and the Consultation Report can be downloaded <a href="http://www.acara.edu.au/languages.html">here</a>.<br>
