Dear RNLDers,<br><br>The NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group Incorporated (NSW AECG Inc.) has released guidelines and application forms for <b>Community Languages Program grants.</b> <br><br>Applications Close: Friday 22nd February 2013.<br>

<br>The NSW AECG is establishing the NSW Centre for Aboriginal Languages Coordination and Development (CALCD). The CALCD will support Aboriginal communities in the revitalisation, reclamation and maintenance of their local language and coordinate Aboriginal languages projects and services throughout NSW.<br>
<br>The NSW AECG Inc. and the CALCD will continue to support Aboriginal communities in furthering their language goals and aspirations. Resources will be made available to communities who apply under the Community Languages Program. The applications will be assessed on a needs basis and the NSW AECG Inc. will auspice the resources to allow communities to concentrate solely on their language program.<br>
<br>Below are areas to be met to further their application:<br>• Applicants must be representative of their Local Aboriginal community<br>• Applicants must demonstrate their vast interest and experience in the revitalisation, reclamation and maintenance of their local Aboriginal language<br>
• Demonstrate how the language project will benefit the local Aboriginal community<br>• The items produced through the project will be made freely available to the Aboriginal community<br>• The language project is not receiving other funding sources to provide the same outcome.<br>
