been researching tribal languages in Northeast India for 20 years. Like everywhere else in the world we face a huge task of language documentation before so much is lost.</span><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";

in Northeast India willing to put time and effort into this work. I’ve been supporting several students from India to undertake an advanced Linguistics MA at a University in Thailand, so that they can go back to India and do this kind of work more effectively.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-ansi-language:EN-US" lang="EN-US">If we can help Deep get the training he needs to do this work, then there will be great benefits for the tribal communities of Northeast India. This is just the start. I want to help more
students who are seriously about studying linguistics and help to preserve the tribal languages to do this work.</span></p>
