<div dir="ltr">Hi Heather,<div><br></div><div>RNLD has a "Documenting and Revitalising Indigenous Languages" training program, and among many other topics we do teach people to use digital recorders (among many other things!). We do have some worksheets/information sheets about basic functions of the recorders, tips (recording in WAV vs MP3 format etc), and also, I think, a simple metadata template in an excel spreadsheet, but perhaps not teaching materials about why and how to use metadata (I can check this though).</div><div><br></div><div>Our Zoom H1 worksheets would be based on the original version of the Zoom, so I'm not sure what has changed, but if you are interested I can email you these materials - feel free to email me off-list if anything sounds useful. We may also have a video demonstrating use of the Zoom.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks and good luck!</div><div><br></div><div>Emma</div><div><br></div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Sun, Sep 2, 2018 at 8:42 AM, Michif Speaker <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:hsouter@gmail.com" target="_blank">hsouter@gmail.com</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><div>Taanshi kiyawaaw, hello you all,</div><div><br></div><div>Kihchi-marsii for all the responses to my earlier query about simple audio recording devices for a Master (Mentor)-Apprentice Program. If possible, I don't want to recreate the wheel! We will have a mixed bag in terms of apprentices in our program, so I need to create something that is both accessible and useful to all our community members. I don't want to give anyone hives from too much techy stuff!
