reminder that the ***FOURTH LINGUISTICS TRIVIA NIGHT*** is on NEXT TUESDAY 18th DECEMBER, hosted by the fabulous Rosey and Katie from the
University of Melbourne.</span></p>

fear not! You won't be tested on the finer points of Glue semantics, or asked
to produce a nasal-ingressive voiceless velar trill, but there will be some
fun, broadly language-themed questions and puzzles. </span></p>

be at The Clyde Hotel, beginning at 7pm, but we suggest you arrive a bit
before if you want to grab a bite to eat. Food and drink are available at

no cost to participate, but there will be a donation box, and any contributions
will help to support Indigenous participants attend a 2-week "Breath of
Life" style workshop with <a href="http://www.rnld.org">Resource Network for Linguistic Diversity (RNLD)</a> in partnership with the
Australian Institute for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies
(AIATSIS). </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:Cambria"><span style="font-size:9.5pt;font-family:Arial">Previous
trivia nights have supported Indigenous language revitalisation projects,
including Zoom recorders to support work on the Ngarrindjeri, Wonnarua and
Jandai languages. Last years' donations helped RNLD assemble Master-Apprentice
Kits for use by people at the Far West Language Centre and the Kimberley
Language Resource Centre. RNLD now has Deductible Gift Recipient status, so
donations over $2 are tax deductible.</span></p>
