difficult now so many linguists are looking for alternatives to fieldwork.
Using archival materials and corpora is another way to work with primary
language data. In this session we look at what kinds of linguistic research are
possible using these sources. We will also discuss ways of collaborating with
the communities whose voices and languages have been recorded including
repatriation of materials.</span></p>
