This project has been administered by Muurrbay Aboriginal Language and Culture Co-operative with funding from the Australian Government’s Indigenous Languages and Arts program through the Department of Communications and the Arts Support Program and the NSW Government through Aboriginal Affairs NSW.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:12.0pt'><span style='font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>The <b>Wanarruwa Beginner’s Guide </b><span style='color:black'>has grown out of the community’s efforts to revive their language, </span>a language of the NSW Hunter River area,<span style='color:black'> and has been supported in all stages of its development by the Wonnarua Elders Council.</span> Each year more and more people are relearning the Wanarruwa language.
