<div dir="ltr">Hi everybody,<div><br></div><div>I can recommend another excellent cartographer that I have worked with over many years. This is Ms. Chandra Jayasuriya of the School of Geography, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Melbourne. Chandra has produced the maps for a number of my publications, including Mapping the Old Zhuang Character Script (Brill, 2013) and, most recently, The Brigands' Song, A Traditional Song Text from Guangxi in Southern China (Brill, 2021). Chandra is absolutely meticulous in her attention to detail, and produces maps which are clear, attractive, and reader-friendly.</div><div>Her contact email is:</div><div><a href="mailto:csj@unimelb.edu.au">csj@unimelb.edu.au</a> </div><div><br></div><div>Kind regards,</div><div><br></div><div>David</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Wed, Feb 2, 2022 at 5:14 AM Piers Kelly <<a href="mailto:piers.kelly@gmail.com">piers.kelly@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">Hi all, </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">Just posting this because people regularly ask me for advice about language mapping.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">There's of course a great deal you can do yourself by learning how to use QGIS (free and open source) or ArcGIS (proprietary), but sometimes I just need a professional carto/designer to swoop in and get it done.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">To this end I've had great experience working with Jason Sankovic who has recently relocated back to Australia and is keen for more freelance work.
