Announcing a new Release of RSTTool: RSTTool 2.7
==================================================

  This email is to announce a new release of RSTTool: 2.7.
This version fixes some bugs in the prior public release (version 2.5),
and adds some new features.

RSTTool is a program for the graphical editing of RST (Rhetorical
Structure Theory) diagrams.


NEW FEATURES

* User selection of font has been added, allowing the use
of fonts such as Greek, Cyrillic, Japanese, etc. (Still need
to add character encoding for a complete multilanguage coverage though).

* The manual has been extended documenting the various ways
in which RST diagrams can be printed, placed in your documents,
or shared with other researchers.

* Diagrams exported in PDX format are now in color.

* Bill Mann has passed on to me Spanish and French versions
of his extended relation sets, which are now included in the
distribution.

* The File selection dialog has been improved to function better on
the Macintosh. Previously, there was no way to load or save analyses
from/to a different drive. This is now fixed.
