[Rstlist] Unconditional relations

Not to leave a question hanging :) I think maybe I can answer my own question...

Unconditional has received little attention in the literature, and some studies seem to suggest that it occurs infrequently (e.g. Iruskieta, 2014; Rubin & Vashchilko, 2012).  This may in part be due to difficulties in differentiating it from Concession.  However, there are occurrences of it.  Here is an example:

1)	...anxious individuals seek out and rely more heavily on advice,
2)	even when the advice is obviously bad,
3)	because they do not feel confident in their own ability to make good judgments

In this example, the structure is concessive, but the intended effect is to elaborate the extent to which anxious individual will go when seeking advice, not to increase the reader’s positive regard for the anxious individual’s behavior.

I am looking for examples of the Unconditional relation.

The relation seems to be closely related to Concession, and everything I’ve found so far seems to tilt more closely to Concession than Unconditional, even the example given on the RST Website, I believe.

If you have any you could share to the list, maybe others would be interested too.

Thanks,
  Andrew
